Bakery, deli and dry fruit packaging guide
Bakeries, sweet shops and dry-fruit brands use clear hinged PET containers that show the product, protect decoration and close firmly. High-lid versions leave room for cream and icing; compartment trays keep mixed dry fruits apart for gifting.

Bakery
Choose by the product's footprint first, then height. Single pastries fit the AT 250 and 300 ranges, cupcakes the square AT 400, loaf cakes and rolls the long AT 500 and 700, whole cakes the square AT 1500. Decorated cakes go in a high-lid (HL) container, which puts the height in the lid so the cake lifts out easily.
Indian sweets and deli
ATP containers suit mithai and namkeen; the AT 2200 range takes bulk deli and catering portions.
Dry fruits and nuts
Everyday packs use the AT 350 range on one 145 × 100 mm footprint; gift boxes use 2, 3 or 4-compartment trays. For long shelf life, oily nuts need protection from oxygen and moisture: add a sealed liner or a barrier film.
Cold food only
Clear PET is for chilled and room-temperature food. It softens at around 70 °C, so it is not for microwaving or hot fill.

Terms in this guide
- CPET
- Crystallised PET, made heat-resistant for ready-meal trays that go into ovens and microwaves. Clear PET and rPET are not CPET.
- Food contact material
- Any material meant to touch food. It must meet the rules of its market, including limits on migration into the food.
- Hinged-lid container
- A one-piece tray and lid joined by a hinge, used for salads, bakery, deli and snacks.
- rPET
- Recycled PET: used PET collected, cleaned and made into new material. The same polymer as virgin PET.
