Overview
A Pyramid-Shaped Punnet. A Compact Cube Arrangement.
Q-Bic uses 45-degree sidewalls to bring six pyramid-shaped blueberry punnets together into a cube. AVI's product literature illustrates 36 Q-Bic punnets occupying approximately 17.1 litres, compared with 34.8 litres for the conventional arrangement shown. Manufactured in India under licence from Smart Packaging Industries AS, Norway, Q-Bic is available in 125 g Snack Pack and 300 g 1 Pint formats.

Less Volume for the Same Count
Q-Bic's shape allows six punnets to fit together as a cube, with multiple cubes arranged into blocks for case packing. The design makes more efficient use of the space between packs.
AVI's illustrated comparison shows approximately 17.1 litres for 36 Q-Bic punnets versus 34.8 litres for 36 conventionally arranged punnets. This is a pack-layout comparison; actual carton, pallet and freight savings depend on the selected format and shipping configuration.

Q-Bic's patented geometry is licensed from Smart Packaging Industries AS, Norway. AVI manufactures the punnets in India using its own PET extrusion and thermoforming capabilities, bringing licensed design and local production together.
