Cards & Identification
AVI Card: rPET/APET Film for Cards & Identification
Overview
AVI Card: Built for Cards & Identification, Not PVC by Resin
Card and ID stock is judged at close range, so a gauge inconsistency or clouded finish is more visible than on most packaging film. AVI Card is an rPET/APET grade — not PVC, despite sitting in AVI's PVC-application family — extruded and finished at one Daman facility for the clarity and gauge consistency card and identification applications need.

AVI's material for Cards & Identification

What We Prove
The AVI Advantage
rPET/APET Base, Grouped Here by Application
AVI Card is grouped with AVI's other film grades by application — cards and identification — but its base resin is rPET/APET, not PVC. Worth confirming with AVI's team which resin a specific spec calls for before ordering.
Consistent Clarity and Gauge
Manufactured as per prescribed statutory standards, with impact and curve resistance and consistent sheet squareness — properties a card converter checks batch to batch, not just on a sample.
Extruded and Finished at One Facility
AVI's broader rPET line (see the rPET sheet page) shares the same extrusion and certification base, so a recycled-content card order can draw on the same documented chain-of-custody.
