Pharmaceutical blister packaging requires film that forms well, seals effectively and meets the requirements of the intended application. AVI Global Plast supplies PVC films with thermoforming and heat-sealing properties, supported by puncture resistance, cold-crack resistance and shrinkage control.
Manufactured on calendering lines, our pharmaceutical blister film offering includes transparent, translucent and opaque options, alongside a PVDC coating option for applications with additional barrier requirements. We work with customers to discuss material specifications against their blister format and processing needs.

Forming & Sealing
Thermoforming properties support the formation of blister cavities, while shrinkage control helps manage dimensional changes during processing. Heat-sealing properties support the sealing stage of blister production.
Resistance & Handling
Puncture resistance and cold-crack resistance support applications where the film's response to physical stress matters. Suitability should be assessed against the intended forming, handling and storage conditions.
Film & Coating Options
Transparent, translucent and opaque films provide a choice of appearance. A PVDC coating option is available for projects with additional barrier requirements, with the specification selected for the intended application.
