Certifications & Recycled Content
What certifications does AVI Global Plast hold?
AVI's certifications include ISO 9001:2015 for quality management, ISO 14001:2015 for environmental management and ISO 45001:2018 for occupational health and safety.
Application-specific certifications include ISO 22000:2018 for PET film and thermoforming operations, excluding PVC; ISO 15378:2017/GMP for PVC rigid film used in pharmaceutical primary packaging; and BRCGS Packaging Materials Issue 7, Grade A, with scope exclusions for PVC rigid film and PVC shirt-packaging accessories.

Is AVI certified under ISCC PLUS, GRS or Ocean Bound Plastics (OBP) programmes?
AVI has participated in or announced initiatives relating to these programmes. Contact our team for clarification on current certification status, renewal details and the scope applicable to your selected material. Historical participation should not be treated as confirmation of current product certification.
How does AVI document recycled content?
Recycled content is specified by grade and supported by batch documentation. AVI's rPET range offers 30–100% recycled-content options, rather than one percentage applied across all products.
EN 15343 certification and Intertek verification provide evidence within their respective scopes, including grade-specific percentages and, where covered, the split between post-consumer and pre-consumer content. Ask our team for the specification and supporting document applicable to your order.
Does AVI's rPET meet food-contact requirements?
AVI offers rPET grades for food-contact applications. Suitability depends on the selected grade, food type, conditions of use and destination market.
During qualification, our team can provide applicable declarations and supporting recycling-process or regulatory documentation. Recycled-content verification alone does not establish food-contact suitability.
Compliance & Traceability
How does AVI support plastic-tax and EPR assessments in the UK, EU and other markets?
AVI can provide material specifications, recycled-content records and applicable certification documents to support your assessment. Plastic taxes, extended producer responsibility (EPR) and food-contact requirements serve different purposes and should be reviewed separately for the relevant market.

What is AVI Trace?
AVI Trace is a batch-level traceability initiative connecting material sourcing and production information for participating orders. Its five stages cover source material, flake, sheet, finished packaging and the supporting batch record.

AVI manufactures at its integrated facility in Daman, India, and serves customers across 33 export markets. Our Mumbai head office supports commercial and customer-facing operations.

Does AVI publish case studies or customer references?
AVI publishes customer names, logos, testimonials and named case studies only with the customer's explicit permission. Where that permission is not available, we describe the relevant application or manufacturing capability without identifying the customer.
