Semiconductors & PCBs
Semiconductors & PCBs Packaging
Overview
Materials for Static-Sensitive Electronics Packaging
Semiconductors and printed circuit boards require packaging selected around their sensitivity to static electricity and their handling requirements. AVI Global Plast supplies anti-static and static-dissipative PET sheets for these applications, with APET and recycled PET material options.
Our offering supports sheet and formed-tray requirements, with the material specification selected around the component, packaging format and required electrical performance.
Material Capabilities
Static Control & Component Fit
Static-dissipative materials
Grades are available for packaging applications requiring controlled dissipation of static charge.
Material options
APET and rPET bases are available with anti-static treatment.
Application-specific selection
Component dimensions, contact points and electrical requirements guide the sheet and tray specification.

What We Prove
The AVI Advantage
Resistivity Matched to the Component
PCBs and components like MOSFETs sit at the more static-sensitive end of the spectrum — AVI's dissipative-band material (10⁶ to 10⁹ ohms/sq, ASTM D618) is built for exactly that risk profile, rather than a one-size-fits-all 'ESD-safe' rating.
Gauge & Colour Range
0.3 to 1.5mm gauge in clear, black or white, as coated anti-static virgin or recycled PET sheet — sheet or formed tray, from the same material.
In-House Extrusion & Tooling
Extruded, tooled and formed under one roof at AVI's Daman facility, and conditioned/tested to ASTM D618.
