Clamshell Formats for Kiwifruit Packing & Retail
AVI manufactures kiwifruit clamshells across 14 product codes, offering a choice of footprints and depths to suit different fruit sizes and retail pack requirements. Clear, hinged-lid formats keep fruit visible while bringing the container and closure together in one pack.
Our rPET packaging is manufactured with in-house extrusion, tooling and thermoforming capabilities. From standard formats to custom development, AVI helps packhouses select packaging for their fruit dimensions, packing process and distribution requirements.

A Choice of Sizes & Pack Weights
The range includes PNG 200/250 formats with a 128 × 94 mm footprint and pack weights of 9–11 g; PNG 300/303/400/410 formats in 115 × 115 mm and 162 × 122 mm footprints, weighing 10.5–16 g; PNG 600/603 formats measuring 185 × 121 mm, weighing 11–17 g; and PNG 750/60 measuring 188 × 144 mm, weighing 22 g. These are empty-pack weights; select the format around your fruit dimensions, arrangement and required lid clearance.
In-House Extrusion & Tooling
In-house extrusion, tooling and thermoforming support both standard clamshell supply and custom pack development. Our wider punnet portfolio gives packhouses the flexibility to source multiple sizes and formats from one manufacturing partner.
rPET with Food-Contact Documentation
Our kiwifruit packaging uses rPET sheet extruded in-house, supporting material control through to the finished pack. Contact AVI's team for recycled-content details and applicable food-contact documentation for your selected format and destination market.
