Industrial Component Trays
Industrial Component Trays Packaging
Overview
Material Choices for Industrial Parts Handling
Industrial trays need to accommodate the shape of each part and the way it moves through packing, storage and assembly. AVI Global Plast supports component tray applications with recycled PET sheets and ESD material options, selected according to the part's handling and static-sensitivity requirements.
For applications without an ESD requirement, rPET provides a recycled-content material option for thermoforming. Static-sensitive components require a specified ESD grade. In-house tooling supports cavity layouts developed around the intended components.
Material Capabilities
Tray Forming & Material Selection
Component-based layouts
Tooling can be developed around part dimensions, orientation and handling access.
Recycled-content options
rPET sheets are available with different recycled-content levels for suitable applications.
ESD alternatives
Anti-static or static-dissipative materials are available where the component requires electrical protection.

What We Prove
The AVI Advantage
Custom Tooling per Component
Not every industrial component needs ESD protection, but every one needs a cavity that actually fits it — AVI's in-house tooling builds the tray around the part rather than fitting the part into a stock format.
ESD-Safe Where the Component Needs It
ESD material (10⁶ to 10⁹ ohms/sq surface resistivity, the dissipative band per ASTM D618) available where the component is static-sensitive, alongside standard PET, PETG or rPET where it isn't.
In-House Extrusion & Tooling
Extruded, tooled and formed under one roof at AVI's Daman facility, from 0.3 to 1.5mm gauge.
FAQ
Industrial Component Trays Packaging FAQs
Common questions from buyers, exporters and procurement teams.
Learn MoreDoes AVI make ESD-safe trays for non-electronic industrial components?
AVI's ESD material range extends to any static-sensitive industrial component, and standard PET, PETG or rPET trays are available where ESD protection isn't required.
Can AVI tool a custom tray for a specific industrial part?
Yes — tooling and mould development are done in-house, so a custom cavity doesn't depend on an external toolmaker's timeline.
What gauge range is available for industrial trays?
0.3 to 1.5mm, in clear, black or white.
