Our Approach & Values
Overview
Responsible Material Use, Built into Manufacturing
AVI integrates recycled-material processing with its wider packaging operations in Daman. Our approach combines recycled PET, material traceability and controlled manufacturing to support responsible resource use while meeting customers' packaging requirements.
For FY2025–26, AVI reports recycling PET equivalent to 263.5 million bottles and an estimated 6,746 metric tonnes of CO₂ emissions avoided. These figures reflect our reported recycling activity; supporting methodology, assumptions and reporting boundaries are available from our team.
Approach
Progress Supported by Traceability & Data
263.5 Million PET Bottle Equivalents Recycled
AVI processes recycled PET through its own extrusion operations, offering grades with 30–100% recycled content. EN 15343 traceability certification and Intertek recycled-content verification support this range within their respective scopes, with documentation available for the selected grade.
An Estimated 6,746 MT of CO₂ Emissions Avoided
AVI's FY2025–26 reporting estimates the emissions benefit associated with its recycling activity. Contact our team for the calculation method, reference scenario and reporting boundaries behind this figure, including guidance on its use in customer sustainability reporting.
FY2025–26 Impact Figures
AVI's Daman operations include PET recycling using Starlinger deCON decontamination technology, alongside its wider sheet and film manufacturing capabilities. The recycling output covered by AVI's FY2025–26 report is specified as 100% post-consumer recycled PET. This output figure is distinct from the recycled-content percentage of an individual supplied grade, which is confirmed through its own specification and supporting documentation.
