Choosing a tray

  • Retail packs of 6 to 12 suit supermarkets; the 6X2 TEAR EGG TRAY lets a store sell 12 eggs or tear it into two packs of 6.
  • 15 to 30 eggs suit wholesale, bakeries and food service; the 30-egg tray is the standard flat for bulk eggs.
  • Quail eggs need their own, shallower cavities: the 12 QUAIL EGG TRAY is 35 mm deep.

Weight and packing

Empty weights run from 9.5 g (12 quail eggs) to 100 g (30 eggs). The 12-egg tray packs 600 to a carton, the 30-egg tray 200.
