Arils
- Retail cups: TBT 103 147 and TBT 104 140 heat-seal trays, 27 to 50 mm deep. The 2-compartment tray pairs arils with another fruit or a dip.
- Grab-and-go: 8 oz and 16 oz tamper-evident packs, no sealing machine needed.
Whole pomegranates
Whole fruit is sold on the 270 × 170 mm TRAY 170TR270 / 65 and wrapped in film, which holds two or three fruit in place for display.
Keeping arils fresh
Arils are packed cold and kept cold. A sealed tray with the right lidding film slows drying and browning; AVI's team can advise on the film for your shelf-life target.

Why heat-seal trays for arils?
Arils are wet and fragile. A sealed film lid keeps the juice in, shows any opening, and can carry a modified-atmosphere film for longer shelf life.
Are these used for other cut fruit?
Yes. The same trays are listed for cut fruit such as melon, pineapple and mixed fruit cups.
