What packaging holds 500 g of grapes, strawberries or cherry tomatoes?
Short answer
AVI makes three kinds of 500 g pack: hinged clamshells for grapes (PNG 501 / 80, PNG 501 / 85, PNG 501 / 90), heat-seal punnets for berries, grapes and cherry tomatoes (A-30 / 75 and the TBT 180 120 range), and flowpack trays (FLW 180 120 / 60, FLW 180 120 / 75) that are film-wrapped on a flow-wrap line. All are rPET.

All packs are rPET. Figures from AVI's catalogue; tolerances and fill depend on the produce, so samples are the final check.
Which one fits your line
- No sealing equipment: choose a hinged clamshell (PNG 501 range). The height (80, 85 or 90 mm) follows the size of your bunches.
- Tray sealer on the line: a heat-seal punnet (A-30 / 75 or the TBT range) is lighter, from 9 g, and tamper-evident.
- Flow-wrap line: the FLW trays are made to be wrapped in film, a format many European retailers use for grapes and cherry tomatoes.
The 184 × 117 mm footprint shared by the TBT and FLW ranges lets you change closure without changing your cartons.
