FY2025-26 Figures

For FY2025-26, AVI Global Plast reports 5,271 metric tons of PET waste converted into 100% post-consumer recycled (PCR) rPET, reintroducing 263.5 million bottles into circulation. The reported environmental impact is 6,746 metric tons of CO2 emissions prevented, 29,515 cubic metres of landfill space diverted, and 6,325 metric tons of fuel consumption avoided. These are AVI-reported figures from its own recycling operation, not third-party-estimated industry averages — see AVI's Our Approach & Values page for how they connect to AVI's manufacturing process.

Regulatory Alignment

AVI's report highlights alignment with India's Plastic Waste Management (Amendment) Rules, 2026, notified April 8, 2026, which mandate recycled-content levels for rigid plastic packaging rising progressively — from 30% in 2025–26 toward 60% by 2028–29, with a tradable-certificate mechanism and up to three years to carry forward unmet targets. AVI's rPET line already spans 30% to 100% recycled content, documented per batch.

What This Means for a Recycled-Content Order

AVI's recycled PET meets food-contact safety and global regulatory standards, high-speed thermoforming performance requirements, and the clarity, strength and sealing specification retail packaging needs — the same rPET line documented on AVI's rPET product page, with EN 15343 certification and Intertek verification behind the recycled-content claim.
