FY22–23 Figures
In FY22–23, AVI Global Plast recycled 218 million PET bottles and processed 4,368 metric tons of industrial waste, saving an estimated 5,591 metric tons of CO2 emissions and 5,242 metric tons of gasoline. The company also introduced AVI Trace, its on-pack QR-code traceability platform, and implemented IoT-enabled preventative maintenance and automated processing at its Daman facility that year.
Certifications Achieved That Year
FY22–23 also saw AVI's rPET packaging (up to 100% recycled content) verified by Intertek, and the company achieved EFSA, REACH and USFDA compliance, alongside certified ocean-bound plastic (OBP) recycler status audited by Control Union and Zero Plastic Oceans. AVI has stated this work aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goal 12 (responsible consumption and production).
Current Status (as of September 2026)
AVI's more recent reported figures, for FY2025-26, show 5,271 metric tons of PET waste converted to rPET, 263.5 million bottles reintroduced into circulation, 6,746 metric tons of CO2 emissions prevented, 29,515 cubic metres of landfill space diverted and 6,325 metric tons of fuel consumption avoided — see AVI's Our Approach & Values page for the current figures. AVI's certification base has also grown since FY22–23 to include ISO 14001, ISO 45001, AEO-T2, ISCC PLUS and India Plastics Pact membership — see the Programmes & Certifications page for each.
